Fire Breaks Out at The Residence at Riverbend Apartments in Shreveport

A fire broke out at The Residence at Riverbend apartments in Shreve City this afternoon.

The fire started just past 5:15 in one apartment in a four unit building at the Residence at Riverbend (formerly Quail Creek Apartments). The fire was out in less than 30 minutes. The four units have been evacuated temporarily. Investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked the blaze, but initial reports indicate it may have started in the kitchen.
