Federal Tax-Filing Deadline Approaches

Two weeks from today (Tuesday, April 17th) is "Tax Day" -- the deadline for filing your federal income tax returns. And the I-R-S has some last minute advice for those who still haven't filed...don't wait until the very last minute. Spokeswoman Dee Stepter says that's when the most mistakes occur. Stepter says more and more of us are filing electronically and she encourages that -- either through the use of commercially-available software or the E-file option on the I-R-S website.
