A federal judge in Baton Rouge has struck down a Louisiana law saying that doctors at abortion clinics must have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles.

Judge John deGravelles ruling says the law, passed in 2014, is unconstitutional.

The injunction was requested by state abortion clinics, including Hope Medical Group for Women in Shreveport and Bossier City Medical Suite.

A hearing on whether deGravelles injunction should become permanent is scheduled for Friday.
