Nationally recognized speaker and Fox News analyst Father Jonathan Morris spoke at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium Thursday (June 12) for CHRISTUS Grace Home's Power Up In Faith luncheon, which honored local clergy members.

Father Morris touched on several topics during his talk, including his takeaway from comments made by Pope Francis during a recent prayer service he attended.

"What I started picking up from Pope Francis, and I think whether you're Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, Pentecostal, Non-Denominational Christian, Agnostic or an atheist, this makes sense: that love is not just about doing for the other what seems to be right, but rather giving myself to the other because they themselves are deserving of love," said Morris.
