Fatal Crash in Caddo Parish
November 22, 2011 10:28 AM A 24-year-old Shreveport man is dead after a crash last night on I-49. Witnesses say Leon Pack was driving his Infiniti G-35 — at a high rate of speed — northbound on the interstate when he lost control of the car, ran off the road into a ditch, hit a culvert and rolled the vehicle several times. A passenger was ejected from the car before it burst into flames. Pack, who was still inside the vehicle, died at the scene. The passenger — 24-year-old Cordaro Travers of Shreveport — was taken to LSU Hospital for treatment. The Caddo Sheriff’s Traffic Safety Unit is still investigating the accident.
