Louisiana's Gaming Control Board Chairman Ronnie Jones talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the upcoming parish-by-parish referendum on sports fantasy gambling.

Currently the state of Louisiana "geo-fences' citizens from participating in fantasy sports websites, like Fanduel. As individual parishes approve or turn down access to these sites, the question becomes who will set up, maintain and, most importantly, pay for the digital fencing for parishes that say no.

Jones tells KEEL listeners that "what we don't know is who's going to pay for that. That will have to be addressed in the spring session. Who's going to pay for that technology and what will the tax rate be if they tax fantasy sports. Those things are unsettled."
