This year’s “Honor Our Heroes Sunday” at First Bossier will be spectacular! The outstanding lineup includes Lt. Col. Oliver North (retired), Dallas Police Chief David Brown (retired) and musical guest – Taylor Rae – Colorado-based Country Music Singer/Songwriter. The event will be held at First Bossier on Sunday, August 27, 2017 with 2 services – one at 9:00a.m.and 10:45a.m. A free breakfast reception will be held before the service at 8:15a.m and a lunch reception will be held after the service at 12:15p.m. in honor of local active military, police, firemen, and first responders. Something new for this year is a co-ed Flag Football Tournament between first responders, law enforcement and military on Saturday, August 26, 2017 on Freedom Fields. The proceeds from this tournament will go to “Angels of America’s Fallen”- an organization that sponsors children of fallen first responders and military.
