Elio Fined Half A Million, But Will Anybody Ever See It?

Keith Marcotte of the Louisiana Motor Vehicles Commission tells 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert and Erin how they made the decision to fine Paul Elio $545 thousand for violating state auto dealers for not having a state manufacturers or dealers license.

The commission determined that Elio Motors, which has yet to produce vehicles for sale, has not adhered to Louisiana law when it comes to regulations regarding automobile distribution in the state and that Elio is not registered either as a manufacturer or dealer.
