Easter with the Roses is coming up Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Gardens of the American Rose Center with a live ladybug release! So it got me to thinking, why a ladybug release?

Well, I did some research via YouTube and found out that ladybugs are great for roses because they eat the aphids that plague the plants. So not only will it be beautiful to watch, it'll also be beneficial to all of the roses at the American Rose Center!

Check out the release of 1,500 ladybugs here:

See the science behind ladybugs and aphids... Yes, bugs eating bugs!

In addition to the live ladybug release at noon, we'll have the Easter bunny, egg hunts and more! Personally, I can't think of a prettier place to take a family portrait! Happy Easter ya'll!
