Brazen Burglars Bust into Businesses, Caught on Tape

Harrison County, Texas, investigators have video of two burglars cutting through a fence just before they made off with shop tools and other items from two businesses, and police are asking for help in finding the bandits.

The suspects are described as Hispanic males, and police say they were responsible for two burglaries at separate locations during the night on August 12th. The criminals were videotaped driving to a front locked gate, where they were caught removing a bolt cutter and cutting the lock. The video shows one suspect removing his white t-shirt and covering the front license plate.

The van entered the area behind the gate and to the rear of the shop. The thieves entered the building by pulling off the metal siding. The video shot inside the building showed a shirtless male walking through the shop.

The victim told authorities several items including shop tools were taken. The second burglary  happened at another business next door.  Both burglaries are believed to have been committed by the same suspects.

The suspects are described as Hispanic with one wearing a dark colored t-shirt over a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap. The other suspect was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

The van they used is clearly visible in the video and is described as a full size Ford van with an unknown sticker on the upper left rear window.

If you have any information that would help authorities find the burglary suspects, call  the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office at 903-923-4000 or Crimestoppers at 903-935-9969.
