Early Voting Turnout Surprises Registrar

Caddo Registrar of Voters Ernie Roberson says he's been extremely pleased with the early voting turnout so far. He had been predicting about 250 voters per day but, in the first three days, the total turnout was almost 1100. So, what's that going to do to his overall turnout projection for the October election? Roberson says, short of a big surge in the last two days, he's sticking with his original prediction of a total voter turnout of between 35- and 38-percent. Early voting continues through Saturday at your Parish Registrar of Voters Office.
