Early Voting for November 19th Election

Early voting starts this weekend for the November 19th election. The November ballot will be much lighter than the October ballot was. There's only one statewide issue and that's another constitutional amendment. The remainder of the ballot here in Shreveport/Bossier will be runoff elections. In Caddo, there's State Senate District-39, House District-3, and a City Court Judge. Bossier Parish residents have three Police Jury seats to decide as well as the parish-wide referendum on the proposed Margaritaville Casino Resort. And, in Webster Parish, there's a runoff for the District-10 House seat. Early voting starts Saturday and runs through the following Saturday -- with the exception of Sunday and Friday. Hours are 8:30 to 6:00 each day.
