Door-To-Door Salesmen Tried To Force Their Meat On Louisiana Woman
No means no, right? The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office is warning the public about door-to-door meat salesmen. This after a duo wouldn't leave when a woman told them she didn't want their meat.
Officials say a woman called the sheriff's office to complain about two men who would not leave her house even though she told then she wasn't interested in their meat.
Deputies arrested 31-year-old Raymond Jaufre, Jr., and 41-year-old Nathan Farmer, who said they worked for a meat and seafood company that makes home deliveries.
They didn't have a license or a permit to be door-to-door salespeople. Officials say always ask for a permit because illegitimate salespeople may be selling bad food.
They were selling the meat out of a truck.
