Domestic Violence Leaves Shreveport Woman Dead – Suspect Being Questioned

Police believe a domestic argument turned deadly in Shreveport's Martin Luther King neighborhood.

It happened Sunday just before 2PM.  Police have not released the victim's name, but detectives say she was shot in the chest inside her home on Sydney Street

The alleged attacker also lives at that house. At the time of the crime, there were at least three other people in the home The woman, who was in her mid-50s, was pronounced dead at University Health Shreveport.

Police have a suspect in custody and they are continuing to question him
