Two men suspected of committing multiple felonies are now in jail, thanks in part to DNA evidence.

Evidence from a March 1 burglary at a car dealership in the 8700 block of Business Park Drive was matched to 25-year-old Jeremy Foster of Shreveport.

During the burglary, two vehicles were stolen from the dealership, and were later linked to a second burglary that occurred at a convenience store in the 5900 block of Youree Drive. There, the suspects used the stolen vehicles to ram the front of the building and steal an ATM machine inside. Foster was linked to that crime, as well.

Foster was additionally developed as a suspect in the February 5th armed robbery of the Capital One Bank in the 6100 block of Greenwood Road. Two men armed with rifles robbed the bank and took off in an orange Dodge Challenger.

Police found the getaway car later, abandoned near the 5800 block of Jefferson Paige Road. Authorities developed 24-year-old Michel Starks as a suspect in that robbery.

Foster was already in jail on an unrelated charge. He faces additional counts of simple burglary and armed robbery, with an enhanced penalty for using the firearm during the crime. Starks has been charged with armed robbery.
