Disney’s Live Action ‘Jungle Book’ Due Out Next Year [VIDEO]

But does it have the "Bare Necessities?"

Disney is doing it once again. They are taking one of their animated classics, and turning it into a live-action musical adventure. The story of Mowgli, a boy raised by wolves, is getting top notch Hollywood treatment with several big names providing the voices of all of Mowgli's friends and would be enemies.

Mowgli's faithful companion, Baloo the Bear, is voiced by none other than Bill Murray; Scarlet Johansson provided the slithering hisses of Kaa; and the incomparable Christopher Walken is King Louie. Other voices in the film include Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong'o, and Mowgli is played by Neel Sethi.

While the film will maintain many of the elements with which we are familiar, director Jon Favreau has added much to this second live-action retelling of Disney's classic.

The film is due for release in April of 2016. The trailer, released Sept 15, 2015 is below.

And according to Disney sources...yes..."The Bare Necessities" will be in the film sung by Mr. Murray!
