Desoto Sheriff Says Teen Stabbed Aunt to Death [VIDEO]

Desoto Parish Sheriff Rodney Arbuckle says deputies have arrested a juvenile following a fatal stabbing in Mansfield, Louisiana.

The Sheriff tells KEEL News the victim had taken the teenager in, trying to help him. Sheriff Arbuckle talked to us about this brutal crime:

DeSoto deputies were called to a home on Brown Street in Mansfield. They found a woman, now identified as Yolanda Hunter stabbed multiple times. Hunter was transported to a local medical center where she was pronounced dead.

Deputies learned that her 15-year-old nephew allegedly stabbed her while she was sleeping. Deputies were able to locate and arrest the juvenile without incident. His name is not being released because he is a juvenile. He is charged with 2nd degree murder.
