DeSoto Deputies Hunt for Counterfeiter

DeSoto Parish Deputies need the public’s help to find suspects wanted for passing phony bills in the parish.

The suspect drove into the Sonic in Stonewall on October 29 and paid for his order with a counterfeit $20 bill. The waitress realized the bill was fake and before she could confront the guy, he drove off. The suspect was driving a newer model Nissan 280Z silver with chrome rims. The driver was wearing what appeared to be ECKCO brand shirt. The waitress described the male as bald heavy set black male about 30 years old.
