A high-speed pursuit lands a Princeton teenager in jail. A Bossier sheriff's deputy clocked 18-year-old Garrett Smith going 102 miles an hour on Highway 80 near the Haughton Animal Hospital late Saturday night. The deputy turned on his lights and siren, but Smith wouldn't stop. Instead, he turned north on Princeton Road, and stopped on Jennifer Lane. When asked if Smith saw the deputy behind him...he said, "Yes." When asked WHY he didn't stop, he said, "I don't know." He was charged with speeding, flight from an officer and careless operation.
