What's the timeline for getting a dog park in Shreveport? Dog Park Alliance head Cynthia Keith told 710 KEEL's Robert and Erin that Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation is ready to spend money.

"They are in search, first, for a landscape architect or an architect or a design professional," Keith said. "You'll see that coming out in the newspaper real soon. There's also a program called BidSync that you can get on, and we'll find the best architects for this project."

Keith has given a June 15th date, and she's hoping a contract ready to go by then for whoever is chosen. But a public meeting will come first, to see what residents want to see in a dog park.
