Dr. Jeff Sadow, Associate Professor of Political Science at LSU Shreveport, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright about the highly controversial $85 million "Lazy River" constructed on the LSU Baton Rouge campus, and the growing -and highly intense - criticism of the money spent on the project.

Dr. Sadow tells KEEL listeners that the money to fund the project came from a special fee assessment and its purpose is to draw students to the university, but he also comments on whether this sort of on-campus attraction gives the impression that "the inmates are running the asylum", as other schools in the university system suffer from deterioration to their buildings and facilities.
