Coushatta to Shut-Off Water

Photo by Vittorio Zunino Celotto/Getty Images
The Town of Coushatta’s water department was planning to shut off the water last Saturday night and Sunday morning to move a water line in the 15-hundred block of Ringgold Ave. But it rained last Saturday, so the work was postponed. Now the project is been re-scheduled for this Sunday. The water will be shut off at 9pm Sunday and will be off until about one o’clock Monday morning. Coushatta residents are being urged to draw enough water to meet their needs before the shut-off starts. Then, once the water’s turned back on, a boil advisory goes into effect. It will remain in effect until state health officials say the water’s O-K.
