A couple from Wisconsin visiting Louisiana to babysit their grand kids, walked away with a check for 1 million dollars.

 

Lottery officials report that  57-year-old Donald Marek and his wife, JoAnn, of Frederic, Wisconsin, bought a Quick Pick Powerball lottery ticket at a convenience store located in  store in Slidell. That ticket had five of the numbers drawn May 21, but missed the red Powerball number. The numbers drawn were: 4, 20, 34, 39, 58 and Powerball 31.

The Marek's plan to use some of the money for their retirement.
