Couple Steals $330k From Elderly Neighbor

A Princeton woman was recent arrested for stealing money from her grandmother, now a couple in St. Tammany Parish are arrested for stealing $330,000 from their elderly neighbor.

Calvin Thibidoux and his wife Darnay Thibidoux obtained power of attorney over their neighbor while he was hospitalized.

The couple used that power to use the victim's money to buy the following items:

• Two cars
• A truck
• A tractor
• Two utility trailers
• A 4-wheeler
• A boat and motor
• A 30-foot camper trailer
• A handgun
• A piece of property with a mobile home on it

Both were arrested and charges with one count each of exploiting the infirmed.
