Couple Arrested on Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

A man and woman have been arrested and a large amount of drugs seized following a traffic stop in Caddo Parish.

Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit, DEA Task Force and Louisiana State Police K-9 Unit conducted the traffic stop on I-20 E.

When they searched the vehicle, they found more than 450 grams of suspected meth ICE valued at $54,516, along with $11,700 in cash.

Agents arrested 29-year-old James Adkins of Princeton and 29-year-old Rusti Stein of Shreveport. They've been booked into Caddo Correctional Center for possessing Schedule II drugs over 400 grams.
