Some bad news could be on the way for all the movie making going on in Shreveport-Bossier and across the state.

A new report suggests that the state cut out many of the film tax credits that are now being doled out. The report cites lost revenue, money the state desparately needs. Louisiana gave up more than 200 million dollars last year to attract movie productions. The leader of the Louisiana Budget Project says the tax credit program costs Louisiana way more than it brings into our budget. The report shows that for every seven dollars we give in tax breaks, the state generates only one dollar to the budget.
