A convicted felon in Haughton has been arrested for possessing a firearm. Bossier Sheriff's Deputies say they were called out to a Bossier fire station in the 3600 block of Bellevue Road early this morning -- to a report of a verbal altercation between 27-year-old Labryan Dotson and his girlfriend. He was alone when deputies arrived...and they found a loaded .22 rifle near where he had been sleeping. The girlfriend has told deputies that Dotson walked outside with the rifle and told her to get off the property or he would shoot her. He denied making the threat. But he was taken to Bossier Max -- because in January 2003, Dotson was arrested for aggravated burglary, and was found guilty of simple burglary that September.
