A crowd of Townsquare Media employee, i-phones in hand, crowded around the door to the NewsRadio 710 KEEL studio this morning, hoping to get a picture of, or maybe even with, Shreveport native and star of last season's 'The Voice', Cole Vosbury.

Vosbury, who's in town for a special Sunday evening show at The Stage at Silver Star, didn't disappoint, performing an in-studio version of his 'The Voice' signature song, 'Let Her Go', then staying around for another hour for pictures, videos and answering a multitude of questions about his sudden rise to nationwide stardom.

'I've always been recognized', Cole joked with KEEL morning hosts Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty, 'It's just that until now they thought I was Willie Robertson.'

Vosbury also kidded McCarty, saying, 'I've been listening to you on the radio since I was old enough to hear', and saying that, though he's currently a resident of Nashville, he's still not sure if country music is his chosen genre.

But it was his singing that truly won the day, as he got loud applause and cheers - and a tear or two from Erin - as he strummed the last chord of the touching ballad, 'Let Her Go'.

Vosbury's appearance at The Stage at Silver Star, originally scheduled for tonight, but postponed because of the threat of storms, is now set for Sunday evening at 6 at Bossier City's newest entertainment venue. Tickets are still available, so click here for information!
