A Desoto Parish man on death road for the scalding death of his stepson 20 years ago is still waiting to be executed. A  death date last month was delayed because the state changed the drug to be used in the process.  Gary Clements is the attorney for 70-year-old Chris Sepulvado. He says the state has refused to give him information on the drug which is now to be used in the execution. He says the drug is no longer available and he suspects the supply Louisiana has may have expired. Sepulvado is on death row for the March 1992 death of 6-year-old Wesley Allen Mercer. The case is now before the 5th Circuit Court of appeals and a new execution date won't be set until that court issues a ruling. Hear our interview with Clements who is with the Capitol Post Conviction Project of Louisiana.
