The red ink continues to flow at the CenturyLink Center.

A new audit shows a deficit of more than $200,000 for 2013.
Bossier City will have to pick up the shortfall again this year. Independent Auditors from Shreveport-based firm KPMG LLP found attendance had dipped in 2013. Also, auditors reported merchandise and concession sales were down and premium seats weren't selling.  Last year, the arena had a deficit of more than $132,000 dollars.

Bossier will use money from the hotel/motel tax fund to cover the deficit.

Bossier Councilman Scott Irwin tells KSLA he feels helping the arena out financially helps build the quality of life in the region, "It's worth it up to a point. It can't lose massive amounts of money, but there is an amount that is tolerable, because you do have other real economic benefits."
