Today was the first day of the 2013 fall semester at Shreveport's Centenary College.  Incoming students have been on the campus since Friday, going through orientation.  They've also been participating in pep rallies, dances, taste fests, and even a magic show.  Today, they were joined by returning students.  Tomorrow morning, they'll attend the traditional President's Convocation, where they'll be officially welcomed to the College by President David Rowe.

As part of the Convocation, the first-year students will make the traditional walk into Brown Chapel to the applause and cheers of this year's graduating class.  Four years from now, the incoming students hope to be doing the same thing in their final year.
