Centenary has Good Fund-Raising Year

During the 2012 fiscal year, which ended June 30th, Shreveport’s Centenary College secured over $5-million for the Centenary Fund for Student Scholarships. School officials say this was the third-largest annual fund drive on record in the history of the institution. This year’s million dollar scholarship challenge is being credited with helping to boost student scholarship gifts. The goal of $1-million in contributions was met and exceeded during the spring. Donations for the new fiscal year are now being accepted online at the Centenary website.
