The 27th annual Centenary Book Bazaar enters its second day today in the Gold Dome. A large crowd turned out yesterday for the first day of the two-day event.

Doors open at 9 o'clock this morning and the Bazaar runs until 4 o'clock this afternoon.  Anything left after 1 o'clock will be half-price until closing.  Hundreds of bargains await shoppers with prices starting at 25-cents, and it's not just books.  There are also DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, cassettes, and puzzles.

The annual Book Bazaar is organized and sponsored by the Centenary Muses, a philanthropic group dedicated to funding projects and programs for Centenary College students.  Last year alone, the Muses awarded over $80,000 to fund projects such as scholarships, renovations and remodeling, travel expenses, sports equipment, flat-screen televisions, and furniture.  Since its inception, the Bazaar has raised more than a million dollars to aid the College.
