A Shreveport woman's been arrested for stealing from her employer. Caddo sheriff's detectives say 28-year-old Danielle Moffett was an employee of Sports South, working in the returned accessories department. They say she stole property that was to be processed and placed back into stock or returned to the manufacturer -- then pawned the stolen items for money to support a gambling habit. Deputies say Moffett made 47 transactions dealing with stolen property in the past five months. Total loss to the company was more than $30,000. Moffett's been booked for felony theft over $1,500.
