Tropical Storm Lee Latest Information [VIDEO]
The center of Tropical Storm Lee is inland very near the Louisiana coast, however its effects are being felt over a much larger area along the Gulf Coast.
Showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain will impact portions of LA, MS, AL and the FL Panhandle on Sunday. Isolated tornadoes will continue to be possible near the central Gulf Coast as well.
More Northwest Louisiana Red Cross Volunteers Deployed to Help with Irene Aftermath
For the third time in a week, volunteers from the Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross are deploying to help with Hurricane Irene recovery efforts. This morning, Rob Blackmon of Shreveport and Rick van Loon of Ruston flew out of Monroe, headed to Tinton Falls, New Jersey
More Local Red Cross Volunteers Deployed to Virginia
Two more volunteers from the Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross are headed to Richmond, Virginia, to work as Client Casework Supervisors. Jean Lanier and Lisa Marie Griffin, both of Bossier City, left late yesterday afternoon to join three other volunteers from our area who deployed from Shreveport and Monroe last week
