Early this morning, North Korea successfully tested a miniaturized nuclear weapon underground.  It is concerning to the United States because it brings North Korea closer to being able to put a nuclear weapon in a missile.

It's a major change in military policy: no more ban on women serving in combat.  That's what's expected today from Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.  It will open up thousands of fighting jobs to female service members.  Reaction has been mixed, with some noting the difference between men and women, others noting that both genders should be treated equally...
