Parking Ticket Fines In Shreveport Could Go Up

Shreveport leaders are trying to find a way to make parking violators pay up. One proposal would double the fine for folks who fail to pay. Right now, the ticket is $10 if you pay it within ten days. But that fine goes up to $25

100 new jobs coming to northwest Louisiana
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal joined Ronpak owner Ron Sedley today to announce that Ronpak will relocate its corporate headquarters from New Jersey to Louisiana and create 100 additional new jobs beyond the 175 manufacturing positions announced last year for Ronpak's new Shreveport manufacturing center
