Mayor Leon Jukowski tells KEEL news that the car company scouted a facility in the city and even offered an investment incentive. However, several issues prevented the plan from bearing fruit.

December 13, 2012 Meteorologist Rhonda Lee spoke with Erin McCarty on the phone this morning about her recent firing from KTBS and detailed the events leading up to it.
The University of Louisiana-Monroe, under head coach Todd Berry, is heading to it's first ever Bowl game. It's big news for the Warhawk faithful. ULM's exciting season will culminate on December 28th in the Advocare V100 Independence Bowl when they meet the Ohio Bobcats. I had a chance to talk with coach Todd Berry and get his reaction to the Indy bowl bid and ask him his thoughts on Louisiana Tech's passing on the Indy invite.
The Northwestern State Demons fell 52-17 last week to Sam Houston State. The Demons are 4-6 but still have something BIG to play for. That would be the nation's largest college trophy... Chief Caddo! The rivalry trophy is held each year by the winner of the NSU/Stephen F. Austin game. Head Coach Bradley Dale Peveto talks about his unique history with the trophy and about his senior class that will be playing their last game as Northwestern State Demons.
The Northwestern State Demons (4-5, 2-3 in SLC) are coming off a loss to Southland Conference leading Central Arkansas. This week NSU will host FCS #4 ranked Sam Houston State at Turpin Stadium in Natchitoches.
