‘Read Across America’ Events Set in Shreveport-Bossier to Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday

 The Bossier Association of Educators is hosting "Read Across Louisiana 2014" Saturday, March 1st, at Pierre Bossier Mall, in the Dillard's Court. Events kick off at 11 a.m. There will be free books and cookies for the kids, guest readers, entertainment and an appearance by The Cat in the Hat himself.

 

The Red River National Wildlife Refuge is celebrating National Read Across America Day the afternoon of Sunday, March 2nd, which also happens to be the birthday of popular children's author Dr. Seuss. The annual observation is a project of the National Education Association.
