Up With God Concert is being held Saturday night at Riverpark Church (the old Hamel’s Park).

The gates open at 6:15. Several bands are scheduled to perform including UWG House Band, Crossfiya, and Fire in Salem. The event is free.

Crowds flowed into downtown Shreveport all day to get ready for the big fireworks show. They staked out the best viewing places and grabbed some 4th of July food (some brought there own) and enjoy a beverage or two. The first few musical acts performed as scheduled. But that's when things changed.
