You've heard of the catch of the day. Well, brace yourself for the catch of the century.

Two men from Jacksonville, Florida recently caught an alligator measuring 13 feet, 4 inches and weighing 765 pounds, using nothing more than their hands, rope, hooks (and some prayer).

Keith Kelley and Kelly Sziy had been sizing up the gator, who they named Lumpy, for the last few months, before they recently pounced on him in shallow water in the St. Johns River. Photos of Lumpy, sure to leave you in awe, can be found on Sziy's Facebook page.

Lumpy wound up being killed and used for processed meat, which will no doubt make animal rights activists unhappy, not to mention enthusiasts of exotic wallets.
