It was a scary morning for some high school students, after the bus they were on was rear-ended by a car. Caddo Sheriff's Spokeswoman Cindy Chadwick says the wreck happened at around 7 this morning, at Highway 1 and Furman Street in Oil City. The bus was taking the students to Caddo Magnet High, and was stopped at a red light, when a Lexus driven by Kaylin Wollen of Vivian hit the bus from behind. The front end of her car ended up underneath the bus' back bumper, shattering the car's windshield. Fortunately, nobody was injured.

The 18 students on the bus were loaded onto another bus and sent on to school. No citations have been handed out, as deputies continue to investigate.
