Captains and Food Bank Aim to “Strike Out Hunger”

Two groups are teaming up today to "Strike Out Hunger." The Shreveport-Bossier Captains and the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana are partering to gather food items to help replenish the food bank's supply. If you show up to the game tonight at Fairgrounds Field, and you bring a minimum of six non-perishable food items, you get in free. If you donate 10 or more items -- you not only get a free ticket to tonight's game, you also get a free reserved ticket to a future 2011 regular season home game.
