On the eve of tomorrow's Louisiana Preferential Preference Primary, two of the Republican hopefuls made Shreveport appearances today.  At an afternoon rally at the downtown Holiday Inn, Rick Santorum said Americans are looking for a candidate who will stand on his convictions.  He said the biggest issue facing our country today is the destructive effects of Obamacare.  Santorium says he's ready to "take it to Obama" on issues like health care, energy, jobs, and the economy.

Mitt Romney has also been campaigning in Shreveport today, holding what he called an "energy event" at QEP Resources on Harts Island Road.  Tonight, he attends a private fund-raiser at the Petroleum Club.
