This afternoon, Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis told the Shreveport Times that his company was ending their relationship with the Independence Bowl. The company will be ending a two-year-relationship with the game.

This wasn't the end of the original agreement between the game and Camping World however, the original contract was signed in 2015 and was for 4 years. However there was an opt-out clause after 2 years, and the company has exercised that option.

This will be the third title sponsor change for the game since 2010.
