Camp Tiger provides these children from the Shreveport-Bossier City area with the opportunity to participate in activities that may not normally be available to them. These fun-filled activities include visiting Sci-Port, Gators and Friends, Holiday Lanes, and much more.  At the same time, medical students have the opportunity to gain valuable health-care experience by working with children who have special needs.  Children who participate in the program live with such handicaps as Down’s Syndrome, Severe Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Epilepsy.
