Calumet Team Wins Shreveport Chili Cookoff

The Desk & Derrick Club's Annual Chili Cookoff was quite the success. 16 teams started cooking early in the morning. By lunchtime, the chili was ready to go.  Crowds started flowing into Festival Plaza to check out all the varieties. I got to be one of the judges again this year. The Calumet team won 1st place from the judges and also won the people's choice award. The S3 team won 2nd place and the Falco team was 3rd.
