Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit Seizes Drugs and Money

A narcotics complaint has led to the seizure of a substantial amount of marijuana and cash. Agents of the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit had been investigating narcotics activity in the 1900 block of Clanton Street and, today, executed a search warrant on a house there. Inside, agents found and seized more than 14 pounds of suspected marijuana and about $70,000. They arrested the home-owner, 66-year-old Thomas Epperson, on a charge of distributing Schedule-One narcotics and booked him in to the Shreveport City Jail.
