CSO Cites Six People for Selling Alcohol to Minors

An investigation into the illegal sale of alcohol to minors results in six summonses being issued.

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator says the Youth Services Division checked 30 businesses for compliance with state laws and parish ordinances during a two-day operation this week. Six clerks were cited for unlawful sale of alcohol to those under 21. Two of the clerks were also arrested by summons for not having an ABO card.

Those cited were:

25-year-old Marlo Taylor of Keithville - Crawdaddy's Convenience Store, 12298 Mansfield Road. Taylor was also arrested for no ABO card.

43-year-old John Brumfield, III, of Shreveport - Circle K, 11730 Mansfield Road.

27-year-old Alexis Arkansas of Shreveport - Relay Station, 10281 Highway 1 in Shreveport. Arkansas was also arrested for no ABO card.

36-year-old Amy Prather of Stonewall - Woody's Bar, 12780 Mansfield Road.

61-year-old Judy Gentry of Greenwood - State Line Bar, 11588 Highway 80 in Greenwood.

30-year-old Alicia Lawrence of Vivian - Texaco (Dove's Corner), 120 S. Pine in Vivian.
