Caddo Schools Boss Goree Reverses School Closing Plan

After announcing plans last week to close three Caddo Parish schools, School Superintendent Dr, Lamar Goree has reversed that plan, and now says only one of those three (Lakeshore Middle) will be shutting its doors.

At Thursday's school board meeting, Goree revealed plans to close three area schools, Lakeshore Middle and Atkins and Queensborough Elementaries. The school chief talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about what caused his change of heart, and why in only twenty four fours.
